Support » Plugin: WP Mail SMTP by WPForms » Interfering with WordPress password reset

When users try to reset their passwords they get this message “The email could not be sent. Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.”

I’ve checked with my host and they confirmed that it is your plugin that is causing this error.

Note: this is not interfering with form submissions.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Based on the text you wrote I think that you have not configured the WP Mail SMTP plugin. You should select some Mailer (NOT the default one). Please read the plugin readme https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ to configure properly with a Mailer of your choice (Gmail, Mailgun, SendGrid or other SMTP).

Yes I have configured it, tested and it is functioning well. The mailer I’ve chosen is “OTHER SMTP” I appreciate the plugin it works well.
