Interference between WpForo and NEXTgen Gallery
-
A few weeks ago I installed the wpForo plugin at my site.
After a few days I noticed that by clicking on an image of any slideshow (already present on my site for some time) the first opening the image is opened twice: one is relative to the normal NEXTgen Gallery interface, the second instead presents the interface with dark background typical of wpForo.
Why does this problem happen? How can I solve?
In practice it is as if wpForo interferes with the opening of the images managed by NEXTgen Gallery.
Is there a setting to set that can eliminate the problem?
Thanks.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @dariuskri,
If you use wpForo Advanced Attachments addon, please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons Tab > Attachments sub-tab and disable Attachment Lightbox/Slider option. Then delete all caches and check it again.@gvectors-team I don’t use any add-ons.
I have the basic version of wpForo, without any extension.@dariuskri,
DO you have any lightbox plugin? Please check all your plugins.
Also, please leave a direct URL to the topic where we can see the issue.I have a few plug-ins, but none wpForo-related add-ons. The problem occurs in any slideshow created with NEXTgen Gallery. Find a slideshow in this article on my site: https://diecastpassion.altervista.org/autoart-mclaren-720s-gt3-presentation-car-3-orange/ Before installing wpForo the problem did not arise.
@dariuskri,
Please list all plugin you have active at the moment. wpForo doesn’t have any lightbox function, so this is not wpForo issue for sure. I see there are two lghtbox:Dialog Lightbox – this comes from some wpForo non-related plugin
Elementor Lightbox – This comes from Elementor pluginBOTH, has nothing to do with wpForo.
@gvectors-team
I thought it was a wpForo problem as when you view an attached image on the forum the graphics are identical to the problem I encounter on NEXTgen Gallery slideshows. I list the installed plugins:-Editor Plus by Extendify
-EditorsKit
-Elementor
-Elementor Header & Footer Builder
-Fonts Plugin | Google Fonts Typography
-Google Language Translator
-NextGEN Gallery
-Post Slider and Carousel with Widget
-Site Kit by Google
-Smush
-wpForo
-Yoast SEOOk, thank you, @dariuskri,
All is clear now. The images are opened by NextGen and Elementor Lightboxes. Both plugins trigger their lightboxes and open the images. So first you close Elementor lightbox then NextGen lightbox. You should find a way to disable Elementor lightbox. In any case I cannot, you help fix this issue. It’s better to open a support topic in Elementor and NextGen gallery forums.@gvectors-team
Thanks, anyway you helped me understand.
Among all the plugins that I have listed in which one should I act? Elementor?@gvectors-team
Thanks, I’ll try to search Elementor’s options.@gvectors-team
I tried looking in the Elementor settings and found nothing about the images.
I think you should write to their support.@dariuskri,
Again, wpForo has nothing to do with Elementor and Nextgen gallery. I’ve already explained the issue, and it doesn’t matter you’ve found some option or not, this is the Elementor and Nextgen gallery conflict, and you can forget about the wpForo. wpForo cannot trigger this issue.- This reply was modified 2 years, 6 months ago by gVectors Team.

Just deactive wpForo, delete all caches and check it again. You’ll see wpForo doesn’t have any relation to this problem.
@gvectors-team
Problem solved. I found the setting in Elementor. Thanks!
