Tested on a test server and I was pleased for a few minutes while I tested. Everything seemed good until I read the negative comments after install.

I uninstalled and verified indeed it does bloat your DB, and considerable email comes from the company. Now I have spam coming in from the email I used for the account.

I can not verify this spam is from them leaking my email, but I am inclined to think it is.

Plus I think this company fenagled the rules to get itself in this repository. It wont be long until they are removed. This is an open source repository and this plugin costs money.

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out. You can always unsub from any of the emails that come from us.

We don't make any emails public. It wouldn't make any sense from us. Most of the negative comments you've seen until now are either because: people would like it to be only free, not freemium ; or: they were place here by one of our competitors, who we've identified already and doesn't have his own plugin listed on wp.

As you can see in the plugin and also everywhere here on the directory, the plugin is free and it has been verified already by countless admins and such. We also sponsored a WordCamp and talked with the people involved. They all loved the plugin, so yes, thank you it is wordpress material.

    Best regards,
    Florin

You can't verify that but you've included it in your review? OK.

Try giving these a read on suggestions for leaving a productive review.

That's a common misunderstanding. It's the code in the plugin that is GPL'ed and opensource. That code may be an interface to a service and when that happens the plugin is "software as a service". That's allowed in the WordPress plugin repository provided that the plugin does not violate the plugin guidelines.

I do not need your rude pointers Jan. I gave my review, and thats that. And I still dont think a plugin that simply is not free, is in this repository.

I have let this spam role in for some time now so I can come back here with it. I CAN verify that squirrly sends out junk to you, no matter how many times you unsubscribe. I unsubscribe each mail I get. AND still, the squirly stuff comes in.

I may give lame reviews, but they are reviews. I am doing some part in this community, and this plugin clearly has some negative issues. Just look at other reviews and the replies.
