  • I say, “no”. If every page has that keyword, the keyword ceases to mean anything.

The Title, slug, permalink of a page or post will work best if it is more unique. If it is: cloud, you are not going to see your page or post move up in rankings unless you have a major site and paid placement in search.

If you make a page or post named: Cloudified Resultants (Google that – in quotes – to get my point), it will show up…of course, one would have to search for said terms…

Point: Try to use a combination of less generic terms for post and page titles, slugs, & permalinks, but also ones that a person would search for on a topic.

monkey and world are quite generic.

Thesaurus’ are great, try: chimpanzee-environment (etc.)

If you use a category or tag often, or a common term in your posts, add that as a keyword in your header.php meta for keywords (but not too many) …If you add such keywords, and there is no related ‘content’ (the post or pages should includes these terms exactly) within the posts or pages, the search engines will ignore said keywords (and maybe all).

Carefully think through this and roll out properly – then see results.
