• Hi Maxim,

We came across your wordpress plugin titled “AJAX Login and Registration modal popup + inline form” and are interested in checking the further about certain feature. Request you to please respond on below queries:

    1. We need the modal popup to let user login as well as register by remaining on the same page. So that even after logging in and registering user is not redirect to other page but remains on same page and also on the page if there is any functionality (particularly ajax) that would only work if user is logged in then this should work post user logs in via the modal popup. Please suggest does your plugin have this feature?

    2. While user is registering we want the user to enter in their own password and don’t want WordPress to generate it’s own random password. However at the same time for the security’s sake we want some sort of email verification to happen, e.g., a random code will be sent to the email that is entered while registering and the model popup should let user enter in same random code after receiving it. If the codes match then registration is successful otherwise not. All this because we don’t want someone to register using someone else’s or fake email accounts. Please suggest do you have this feature in your plugin?

    3. We use google recaptcha on our portal, so hope it will work with your plugin?

Your earliest reply on this inquiry shall be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Pawan Rai

    Hi Pawan,

    1.

    Yes

and also on the page if there is any functionality (particularly ajax) that would only work if user is logged in then this should work post user logs in via the modal popup.

There are JS hooks that you can use to determine that user logged in and do your custom actions/requests.
But of course, without page reload or writing custom scripts external plugins will not triger any actions/page changes automatically.

    2. While user is registering we want the user to enter in their own password and don’t want WordPress to generate it’s own random password. There was a mail verification with a verification link.
But if you want to avoid any redirects/page reload then it’s a bit problematic.

    3. We use google recaptcha on our portal, so hope it will work with your plugin?

Yes, but it’s recommended plugin inbuild recaptcha.

    Thanks for your response.

Would like to understand below points though:

You mentioned “There was a mail verification with a verification link.
But if you want to avoid any redirects/page reload then it’s a bit problematic.”

it is okay if the page re-loads, but can you please suggest how email verification works. We don’t want the email to carry the password but want the user to enter password at the time of registration.

Also for google recaptcha you mentioned “Yes, but it’s recommended plugin inbuild recaptcha.” can you please suggest how to make google recaptcha work with the plugin.

Thanks again and looking forward to your response.

In the PRO version user could select a custom password during the registration.

Also for google recaptcha you mentioned “Yes, but it’s recommended plugin inbuild recaptcha.” can you please suggest how to make google recaptcha work with the plugin.

Inbuild reCaptcha also integrated in the PRO version.

    Thank Max,

We’re keen to take it further and buy the pro version. Could you please clarify last two points below for us, please:

    1. Can you please share the workflow/mockups of how the verification works during registrations? If that is not possible please suggest what mechanism does the system use to verify email address i.e., click on a link from email or some sort of code?
You can use my email address to share this rather than using this thread. If it is a link that needs to be clicked then how does user come back to the same page from where she clicked on register link? This is important for us.

    2. When you say “user can select a custom password”, so that means they can actually enter in their own password and not select one amongst some passwords shown to them, right?

Thanks once again and looking forward to having buying this plugin.
    Pawan
