  • @tariquesani,

Currently, there are a couple of solutions that could work:

    1) Ninja Forms in conjunction with their Front End Posting extension. You would have to map the address fields to the appropriate meta fields and the user would also have to insert the coordinates manually.

    2) Gravity Forms in conjunction with the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin, which allows users to create posts via the front end. Basically you would have to map the fields for this in the same way you would for Ninja Forms.

Unfortunately, the user wouldn’t get the cool interactive map interface that you currently do in the admin. Having the user enter coordinates isn’t ideal either, but there are ways that could be handled on the back end when the post is saved with minimal code.

Ultimately, we would like to integrate with Ninja Forms and Gravity Forms to make this kind of thing simple. We could potentially integrate with WP User FrontEnd as well, although we would be more likely to integrate with the more popular solutions first.

As rightly noted unless the user gets the über cool interactive map interface to add places a front end would be mostly not used.

Integration with Ninja form or gravity form would be super awesome!
