# Integration with phpBB

 * Is there a plugin or hack for wordpress that integrates its user system to phpBB?
   I am planning on running a forum (phpBB) and using wordpress to publish news 
   articles. I want the user database of phpBB and wordpress to be unified so once
   someone registers on the forums they can post comments on news articles with 
   that same username without having to re-register that same username on wordpress.

 * If you search the boards on “phpbb” you’ll find this topic comes up several times
   a week, but as of yet the only solutions I’m aware of are combinations of hacks
   and phpBB mods. One method is found here:
