integration with paid membership subs plugin

    I’m using plugin paid member subscription to make membership discount for certain products, it 100% discount so the download button showed up

    but when clicked, it just redirect to the product page again. I read in another thread that it happened because download check return false.

    So I tried to make it free from beginning (without discount), and the download button works. but the button showed up to every logged in users regardless their type

    can this plugin restrict the free download to just one type of member? or do you have any other suggestion

    Hi mate, support for Paid Member Subscriptions is included in the Pro Edition of this plugin. So if you set a membership to have a 100% discount for a product, it will be downloadable for free.

    Hi mate, thanks for suggestion
    for now I’m tight on budget, so maybe next time
    but, is it possible if I try to restrict the download button by member type via hook?

    The reason it’s in the pro edition is because I had to do a lot of custom coding to get it working. Essentially that plugin hasn’t be instanced yet during the download process, which is why the front-end shows the product can be downloaded for free, but the download itself fails. You’re welcome to try and write a workaround but it required a fair amount of work on my part.
