I swapped out contact form 7 with ninja forms for the user mailchimp list signup. For some reason, I am not able to configure the integration at all – it just says that it is enabled already and I am not able to go in and edit any settings or disable it. I have the latest version of Mailchim4wp and Ninja Forms.

Now this is a problem because it does not appear to connect to mailchimp at all. It does everything correctly by ninja forms. I checked the error logs and can see nothing suggests a problem.

I did try and remove the plugin and reinstall it again to see if I can get my integration settings to appear, did not work. I attempted to reset the api integration and had the same issue.

Is this plugin meant to work well with Ninja Forms or not? I want to use a 3rd party email system as it offers me much more flexibility than having mailchimp send the responder emails.

Just to add that I am using the free Mailchimp plan. Does that cause any complications with using this plugin? I have noticed that Mailchimp is becoming more agressive with its push to premium plans.

Hi, sorry for the late response, somehow a number of the WordPress .org forum notifications ended up in our spam folder…

Anyway, you can add the “Mailchimp” field/action to each Ninja form, that is how this integration works.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
