# Integration with Mail Chimp?

 * Hello,
 * We are trying to use Smart Forms and integrate our mailchimp list with an opt-
   in button. MailChimp says it is possible to use with 3rd party forms, AKA you
   guys, but I can’t figure out how to do that. Here is the code that they give:
 * <label><input type=”checkbox” name=”mc4wp-subscribe” value=”1″ /> Subscribe to
   our newsletter?</label>

 * Hello!
 * A mailchip addon is in the todo list but i haven’t started yet so i am not sure
   what is needed to integrate it. I don’t think you can do it with only that information
   though. because even if you add that the form will be submitted to your server.
 * So i think something else needs to be done, probably once the form is saved in
   your server there is an api to contact mailchimp and register a new user, but
   like i said i haven’t started doing this add on (probably i will start next month)
   so i am not sure.
