# Integration vs Code Script (US Only)

 * Hello and good day.
 * I would like to enable cookie consent by default for US.
 * I have configured the script code in GDPR Cookie Compliance and set Cookie Categories
   toggle to Default status ENABLED and added the script in the head and body section
   of the plugin.
 * Does the Default Status only affect the manual scripts in Cookie Categories? 
   Or does it affect the Tracking ID’s in Integrations also?

 * This feature is called ‘Geo-location’. Once you enable it, you can decide which
   regions are going to see the cookie pop-up (ie EU) and the visitors from the 
   rest of the world (ie. US) will simply have all cookies enabled by default.

 * What does default status do if I have the scripts added but nothing enabled in
   integrations?

 * If you did not add any scripts or integrations, then the default status won’t
   do anything, except show to users that the cookies are enabled (but no scripts
   will actually be launched through the plugin).

 * You can either add the scripts or enabled the integrations or both.
 * In each case, once the user accepts the cookies, the enabled integrations or 
   scripts will launch and start being active on your user’s browser tab.

 * Thats not what I am asking.
 * if I have default status enabled, are scripts enabled and active for tracking
   automatically. I am trying to determine if default status enabled means, tracking
   is enabled automatically.

 * Yes, if the default status is ‘Enabled’ then yes, the scripts or integrations
   linked to that cookie category are enabled automatically/by default when user
   lands on your site.
