• I would like to use WP as the basis for a site that includes both a calendar (Helios) and a directory (same company). The calendar and directory are php. Is there a way I can use WP to wrap around the calendar & directory so the site has consistency in its appearance – with the calendar/directory running inside the page? Thanks for any ideas

The quick & dirty (& a bit clumsy) way would be to make a couple of page templates – one for the calendar & one for the directory and make each call the WP header & Footer as normal, but in place of the content you’d normally have (the loop), put in an iFrame to display the calendar or directory. Then make a blank page with no content for each using the relevant template.

You might get away with using an iFrame embedding plugin instead such as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/iframe-embedder/ – do a search for iframe in the wordpress.org plugin directory there are a few different ones available.
