Integration of Laserfiche with WordPress

I have a client who wants to integrate their Laserfiche document management system into a new WordPress website. Based on an extensive google search, there seem to be no plugins that exist to do this.

Can anyone tell me what would be involved in creating this integration? Sounds like I might need to hire a plugin developer.
