Integration in to area on Website (6 posts)

    I'm looking to integrate a WordPress blog in to my website but am unsure as to how to do the following.

    As you'll see from the link below, my website is split in to 2 main areas - navigation on left and content on the right. What I want to happen is for my blog to appear in the content section when users click on the 'BLOG' link. I've managed to get it working so that the initial blog page will open in this section but anytime I create a new post it changes how/where it opens.

    WEBSITE: http://www.kelvinwins.com/

    Is there an advised way to do this?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Try adding a blog page to your site and embedding the blog using an iframe. The code would look something like:

    <html>
    <body>

    <iframe src ="http://kelvinwins.wordpress.com/" width="100%" height="100%">
    </iframe>

    </body>
    </html>

    With your styles and divs added, of course.

    Your main site doesn't appear to be built on WP, but if it is, you'll need to use the HTML editor for this (not the visual editor).

    Thanks for the reply. The site is not built on WordPress. It's all HTML/CSS but I want to integrate my blog (currently external) in to the website.

    I've considered doing an iFrame but the problem I have with that is that I can't get the iFrame to re-size to suit the height of the content inside.

    I've mocked up a test page that I'm working on. I've set the page height to 5000px which works for this blog page but is not suitable for others.

    Any ideas what I can do to overcome this?

    Hm. My first thought is to set overflow:scroll on your container div, like you have on the sidebar, but you'd need to set up a separate stylesheet for that to work.

    You may want to try asking over on the WordPress.com forums (they cover the hosted blogs, whereas this site handles self-hosted installs) - you may get more help there. Good luck!

    Thanks. My blog is self hosted. I'm just trying to put it in to my existing site instead of sending people to a xxxx.wordpress.com site.

    Did you have a chance to look through any of this for ideas yet?
