Integrating WooCommerce into Writr theme

Currently I am trying to integrate WooCommerce into my Writr theme. I figured out how to remove product images and thumbnails, but I am unable to get the product information to align with the top of the page instead of skipping down past the bottom of the side menu.

I thought it might be the theme width, so I made adjustments in the css to widen the body, but to no avail. Any ideas?
