• I’ve been blogging on wordpress.com, and I also have a website that acts as a more permanent demonstration of what I do and what I offer. Blog is currently at martincloake.wordpress.com and website at http://www.martincloake.com The website is built with Rapidweaver and hosted on Little Oak.

I’m starting to plan moving to a wordpress.org account for my blog, and I’m working my way carefully through the how to of this. But I need to know if it’s possible to include my website as an element, rather than simply a link, on my wordpress.org blog. I’m looking at various magazine-style themes, and ideally I’d like to be able to direct people to the same site to see my blog and website. If possible, I want to avoid having to completely recreate my website on wordpress.org, as I like it the way it is and at the moment I haven’t got the time this will take.

It’s not the end of the world if I can’t do this, but I thought as both website and blog will be hosted on Little Oak, it seemed a sensible thing to do.

I’m also a bit concerned about possible problems that might arise when moving, and that may be caused by hosting a website and blog on the same server. Any experience people have would be useful. The key factor for me is to ensure I’m not off the radr for any length of time, and that i don’t cause more problems than I solve. My site and blog are important ways of generating work for me.

    Thanks in advance
