Integrating Forum users into WordPress

I am looking to possibly use WordPress (I prefer to install, work out anything I have issues with and then use it permanently) but the main issue I am running into is how do I set it up so that my users from the forums don’t need to sign up with both things, I want them integrated with my forums, phpBB, being the preferable user management area. I want my users to be able to post their replies onto the blog, but I don’t want them to have to sign up with both things.

I don’t use it, but looking at the stats a few people are having problems

I’ve searched trying to find someone who has been able to get it to work, to no avail, I think I’m just searching for the wrong things….
