# Integrate with Duplicate Menu plugin?

 * First, want to say that I really appreciate the Nav Menu Roles plugin.
 * I’m using NMR on a rather complicated menu with multiple roles for an intranet.
   It occurred to me the other day that I should make a duplicate of this menu, 
   just in case.
 * I found the plugin [Duplicate Menu](http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-menu/)
   which does what it says, except that it doesn’t duplicate any Nav Menu Roles 
   settings.
 * I think the issue is that neither ‘nav-menu-logged-in-out’ or ‘nav-menu-role’
   are included in the array of menu item keys/values that are being duplicated 
   in duplicate-menu.php, and I’m not sure how to properly include them in that 
   array. Perhaps a filter?
 * I’ve been working on this for a couple hours and have run out of ideas, so I 
   thought I’d ask here if you have a solution or can point me in the right direction.

 * Hi John. I’m glad you like NMR. I’d have to agree with your assessment and similar
   to how the default importer works, the menu item’s NMR meta information (everything
   is saved in the `_nav_menu_role` key) isn’t being duplicated.
 * I think this question is better suited for the Duplicate Menu devs.. though they
   may or may not support the duplication of custom keys.

 * Thanks Kathy. I left a note in the Duplicate Menu support forum, and if this 
   gets reconciled I’ll try to remember to update this thread.
