Support » Plugin: DeepL API translation plugin » Integrate Google Translate API?

  • Hi,

I’m wondering if you have any plans on making a similar plugin but for Google Translate? That would be perfect.

Last time I checked they didn’t have an API. It seems they have now.
Currently refactoring the DeepL plugin. Will launch a Google Translation after (maybe August ?)

    Thanks for the information

    Thanks for your reply.

Also, I can see that line breaks get removed by DeepL after translating. Any solution for that?

I will buy it if you make a paid version for Google Translate.

I found a solution for line breaks and <p> tags.

The TinyMCE-Advanced plugin adds the option to disable the automatic removal of <p> and <br/> tags. The option to disable/enable WordPress line break is present in the Settings->TinyMCE Advanced panel.

That fixed it. Now I have all <p> tags visible in text mode again.
