  • I am the working on a website:
He wants to add functionality from 2 vendors: and

The purpose is so that his customers can use the vendors’ custom suit/dress shirt/and shoe design programs without having them leave his site, and ensuring that checkout, payment, etc. is handled and held on his site.

He wants it ‘blind,’ as in they will for all intents and purposes be on and not know that the actual custom design information (not personal information) is being received by the vendor to build the shoe or clothing.

I have reached out to the vendors, assuming they are already providing this service to others but they are both overseas and it is taking too long to hear back.

Do I use ‘inspect element’ and grab code (a LOT of pages of code)?

I have not found anything even close to discussing this on the forums – please help if you can!

    very awesome

You can copy their code – but if they don’t give you permission to do that you could be in legal trouble, os I’d suggest that you don’t do that.

As far as embedding their system into your site, you will have to wait to hear back from them. It may not even be possible. Every system can be different, and without knowing exctly what they are using and what options they allow for integration there’s nothing that anyone can do.

Thank you catacaustic – I wouldn’t dream of stealing it. I wrote to each today as I want to be very clear with my intentions because the site owner I am working for was vague.

If they do regularly share the system they will likely have a template for integration. My employer can buy it or make other financial arrangements and I will work with them to integrate.
