integrate a header image for a single event

    I have the free EventsCalendar for my WordPress site.
    The header unfortunately always has a gray background for me (see the link …)!
    How can I integrate a picture at this point?
    I would pay something for that, but I do not want to complete an annual subscription.

    Is there a free or cost-effective option for this?

    Hi @uherwig

    That grey box is coming from your theme, most likely.
    You could reach out to the theme developers to help you find a solution for this.

    Likely you will need to look at the page template the events are using and implement some code so the featured image is pulled in to be shown as the background.
