I havent really noticed this so not sure when it was introduced but Im using payment by check as an option in my checkout. Under the settings woocommerce -> settings -> payments -> offline payments – > pay by check I have written instructions (the last field to fill in, first is headline, then description and last instructions). On the thank you page / order confirmation page the text set in instructions is added 2 times, one after the other.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Hi @linusl,

    Thanks for reporting this!

What you’re seeing isn’t just on your site; it’s a known issue with the current version of the Stripe gateway (v9.9.1), where the “Instructions” field can appear twice on the Thank You / Order Confirmation page.

Our developers are already tracking it here:
    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/4685

You can follow that GitHub issue for progress and updates as the fix is worked on.

While waiting for the official fix, you could temporarily remove your instructions from the “Instructions” field and move them into the “Description” field instead, or roll back to the previous plugin version.

Thank you again for bringing it up and for your patience while the team resolves the issue.

Thanks @saivutukuru for the info and update.
Guess there are more things I will see fixed in a near future then. For example some translations done in loco translate does not take effect even though all looks good in all files. According to others its because of some block thing introduced. For example “Free Shipping” showing in checkout when user hits free shipping limit (table rate shipping) in wordpress/woocommerce core language files do not show the correct language it is translated to but rather always Free Shipping. All looks good in loco translate and all language files ive checked but it defaults to english anyway.

    Marking this as resolved

    Hi @linusl,

Thank you for your response and for the clarification. I’m glad to hear that my colleague’s reply was helpful.

If you have a moment, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review here to share your experience with the forum responses overall: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/#new-post
