[resolved] Instructions say to copy db.php, but only symlinks work (4 posts)

    So, the instructions say to just copy db.php to the wp-content folder.. but in doing so, it causes a fatal as it does:
    require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/inc/error-handler.php' );

    Using a symlink works perfectly (db.php -> plugins/wp-db-driver/db.php), but that doesn't work with Grunt, when Grunt copies it to the build directory, it alters it from a symlink to a direct file copy.

    For now I've hard-coded it to a full path locally, I don't really see an easy way to fix this aside from a file_exists() and assuming the plugin directory location (the Plugin DIR constants are not yet available)

    Yeah, even I can be an idiot sometimes :)

    I didn't spot you'd included a wp-content/db.php alongside the db.php file :)
