    Hi,
I’ve been using the plugin for some time now, however wanted to check how does it influence the speed of my site.

I cannot deactivate this plugin and not break my site.

Even if I switch to default mode, the site will break. As far as I know, my server is on Apache/nginx. The htacces rule is set to write.

What else needs to be done?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @piotrk87,

Thanks for the feedback. The plugin shouldn’t affect the website speed especially if you have a cache plugin because the paths change in the cache files is done in the background cache and once in the frontend before the caching.

You can check the website with the website speed tests like:
    https://gtmetrix.com/
    https://tool.pingdom.com/
    https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

If you have paths cached on plugin deactivation, make sure you purge the cache from the installed plugins or from the server. If you use Cloudflare CDN you need to clear the cache to make sure it loads the old paths.

If you use Nginx server, as you did when you configured the plugin, you need to reload Nginx to make sure it loads the last paths.

    Best, John

    Hi John,

I did purge cache from Cloudflare and also locally and after that the site brraks.

What do you mean by reloading nginx? I use third party hosting. Are you referring to purging cache on server level too?

    Hi,

I noticed you said in the first message that you use Apache/nginx and for Nginx there is a reload action needed

I checked your website and it’s Apache so you don’t need any Nginx to reload.

Normally, after you deactivate the plugin, the plugin can’t change any path on your website. Monday we can check the website and why the theme style is not working after the plugin is deactivated.
