Instead of product pictures show category pictures

    Hello,

    I would like instead of the product pictures always the category pictures show of the corresponding category in which the product is.

    Both as a thumbnail and on the single product page.

    Is there a possibility, eg. hook?

    Products can be in more than one category. What criteria could a code snippet use to work out which category picture to show?

    Thank you for your answer.

    I have for each product just one category.

    For example, I have two categories.

    A Food
    B Drinks

    And to each of these categories products. But I do not want to display product images, but always the category picture.

    Is there any solution for this?

    (I can not upload an image when creating the product, so the image of the category should be displayed automatically.)
