What is the difference between the Instant Indexing plugin installed, and the API configured (I did everything according to your guide) and just a working Instant Indexing block built into the base RankMath? Even without the plugin in the Instant Indexing tab, I could see the pages being submitted.
For some reason I thought there was some significant difference, so I did everything from the API setup, and so far it looks like a lot of work. Am I wrong? Did I miss something important?

Ok, a few options are added with the plugin, but I don’t see them as a significant bonus. I just need the page indexing to improve, everything was done automatically. But pages are automatically sent both with and without the plugin.

Please explain what is the difference?

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

The Instant Indexing API that comes with the Rank Math plugin is for Bing and Yandex search engines:

However, the one that you have set from our guide is for the Google search engine:
https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Moreover, both of the API helps your URLs get crawled faster. When you submit your URLs through the API, search engines will be aware of the latest changes on your site, to crawl, index, and reflect these changes sooner in search results.

@rankmathsupport Any reason for the features of the additional plugin to not be part of the Rank Math plugin?

Hello @gerardreches,

We are continuing to improve everything in Rank Math plugin including this area.

Unfortunately, there are no immediate plans to merge the Google Instant Indexing plugin since this API is recommended for only Live Streaming and Job Posting websites which is not ideal to offer in the main plugin.

For now, you may need to install that separate plugin to make use of the Google Instant Indexing feature for Rank Math.
