I recently came to know about Instant Indexing provided by Google and Bing and registered for the same in Google Cloud Platform. Thanks to SEOPress to provide a direct and friendly interface to configure these APIs so easily..!

But, after setting up the json key according to the documentation provided here, the interface just show one message – “No URLs to submit” and nothing else. I actually could not figure about if there is any real error or not, but no success message is being shown at all. What could be wrong ?

I just now read that Instant Indexing API is designed to work with specific kind of websites only. It does not accept request for regular websites. An excerpt from Google’s Documentation :

Currently, the Indexing API can only be used to crawl pages with either JobPosting or BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject. For websites with many short-lived pages like job postings or livestream videos, the Indexing API keeps content fresh in search results because it allows updates to be pushed individually.

Could it be possible that, because of this restriction, it is not working on my site ? Mine is a simple blog with no job descriptions or live streams.

Make sure to choose a search engine,
add some URLs to the textarea,
    then SAVE changes first.

    Finally, click Submit URLs button.

    Thx

This is something that we’ll be improved in our next update

So it is still being implemented. Isn’t it ?

Also, what about Google’s restrictions ? Does this feature works on all types of sites ?
