‘Instant Click’ = :-D

I’ve briefly encountered Litespeed before without having time to explore its functionality but today discovered a little tucked away setting in the advanced tab called ‘Instant Click’. I love it. I knew preloading was a caching technique, but I always thought it involved wizards and spells. I am charmed by the elegant simplicity of this technique and will be enabling it on all my WordPress sites from now on. After a quick test to measure up performance gain vs additional server requests, this definitely works for me. If I was lucky enough to manage a website with hundreds of concurrent visitors, I can see how this might make the http server sweat! 😀 Thanks guys!
