# Instal.php page blank

 * After uploading all of the zip file (which was the correct size) to a sub directory
   on my site and putting in all the appropriate configuration information for the
   database, I went to the instal.php page. It is blank. I have tried reloading 
   the page with no success. I have seen people having this error but none of the
   solutions (ie wrong file size for the download, etc) appear to apply to me. Any
   ideas what I should check?

 * After deleting the wp-install and putting a sample in, the config worked through
   the install.php creating the info.
