i’m trying to install wordpress 3.0.1 on my windows 7 desktop, using apache 2.2.15, php 5.3.3, mysql 5.1.51.
an oscommerce install is working correctly, so apache, php and mysql setup is ok.
wordpress instead shows a blank page after setting up the config correctly (manual) and starting install.php. i figured by tempering with the php file, that the paths are generated with the wrong directory seperator…
the first require_once() in install.php on line 35 freezes, because the path given is mixed up with backslashes and slashes…
require_once( dirname( dirname( __FILE__ ) ) . '/wp-load.php' );
require_once( X:\wordpress/wp-load.php );
so, has anybody an idea how to get wordpress running? or howto modify php.ini or the apache httpd.conf so that the paths will work?
