Hi marcelrecords,
I would attempt to re-install WordPress from a clean downlaod and see fi that corrects the issue.
Let me know if it helps!

I downloaded WordPress, unzipped and uploaded it to my website.
Instructions say to run the install script. There is no install script (wp-admin/install.php) in my downloaded files.
Suggestions? Keep in mind I’m pretty much a novice with this.
Thanks!

This is a follow-up to my post. I downloaded again and got the correct file.
Now I’m getting the message “Your server is running PHP version 4.4.9 but WordPress 3.2.1 requires at least 5.2.4” and will contact my webhost about that.
hi again, and yes, the file was OK now
unfortunately that did not help too much…
the wp-config.php seems to be incorrectly altered (by me that is)
at least, I get an error message claiming as much
AFAICS I have done it correctly, but clearly I have not.
I am in doubt about the hostname, though
Network Solutions (my host) gives ”mysqlv” plus a number as servername
should I use that as host name?
