I apologize in advance if this problem has been resolved somewhere else. I’m new to WP and not a programmer but I’m willing and ready to get my hands “dirty” – so to speak… I have set up a local server using MAMP on my laptop. I have everything running smoothly.

I wanted to move a test site from one local directory to another as a test. I found your plugin and I’m really excited about it. I was able to install it easily and create the install.php and the zip package.

When I go to the new directory and click on install.php, I get the following error message:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ” (ASCII=25) state=0 in /Users/flo/Sites/kaiizen_local/installer.php on line 149

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘4’ (T_LNUMBER) in /Users/flo/Sites/kaiizen_local/installer.php on line 149

Could you please help me figure this out… I’m a bit over my head…

    Thank you!!!

    Hey babbleflo,

I saw your help ticket but never got any response back. Did you happen to get past this issue?

    Thanks

No 🙁 and it’s on my local machine so I cant give you a temporary cPanel and WP Admin account as you requested… It’s ok though, I worked around it. Thank you!

Sounds good! Do you remember your solution?

Most definitely not the most efficient way to go about it but I simply started over…
