  • I’ve looked through the threads and can’t find an answer. Here is the error msg I get:
Warning: main(/home/subbag2/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/subbag2/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 30
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘/home/subbag2/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/subbag2/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 30
Now, I am just learning about web stuff, so WordPress seemed easy. The download file is supposed to unzip into folders, except mine didn’t do that, so I uploaded everything into the wp-admin file. Then I found another post where it shows you how to allocate the files into folders, except not all the files are the same and I don’t know where to put all the .gif files.

That looks like when the unzip happened, it didn’t keep the existing structure.
Can you right-click the zip, and see if there is an option to keep file/folders ? You should then end up with at least 3 folders and several files that are not in those. They can then be uploaded as they are.
As it is, if every file is in a sungle folder, it will not work at all.
