# Installing WordPress On A Subdomain

 * Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows how to install WordPress onto a subdomain?
   I’ve been looking at forums on here, but I don’t understand. I already have WordPress
   installed on my public_html, but when I tried installing it manually, it just
   doesn’t work. Please help!

 * Create a database and username, put the correct info in the wp-config.php, upload
   all the files to the subdomain folder, and go to [http://subdomainname/domain.com/wp-admin/intall.php](http://subdomainname/domain.com/wp-admin/intall.php).

 * Oh, I was just trying to figure out how to install WordPress on a subdomain. 
   I installed it manually. Then I just found out it’s easier if you just create
   a subdomain and then install WordPress from Fantastico.
 * But thanks for the help! (:
