# Installing wordpress in wamp

 * I am trying to install wordpress in wamp. I have put unzipped wordpress folder
   inside my www directory, but couldn’t get through the first step of installation.
   I have filled in everything but I got error “table prefix can’t be empty” even
   though I have filled it in. I then tried to fill in wp-config manually through
   editor. After I did that and tried loading install.php it went loading for a 
   long time, at the end I was left of with blank page. How should I install WP?

 * I was able to come up with a solution. I was using different port (localhost:
   8080 instead of localhost) in my apache than the default one which somehow didn’t
   workout with the wordpress installation. So I changed the skype port settings
   so I could comeback to default apache port.
