hey, I cant figure out how to install (or publish) a blog to my domain name lol .. I don't want people to have to type in <domain.com>/wordpress ..... everytime I go to install it there it forces me to install to a directory? is that just the way to access the dashboard? .. and when i go to the dashboard there is nowhere to publish it ... any help would be great :)

    thanks

If you are having problems, it might be a good idea to install WordPress using an auto-installer such as Fantastico. Your host will probably provide one.

This gives you the option of either choosing the name of the folder where WordPress will be installed, or leaving it blank to install in the root.

If it is installed in the root, people won't have to type in yourdomain.com/wordpress.

    Hope this helps
