# installing WordPress

 * Hello,
    I am trying to install WordPress and am following some help pages. The
   help pages instruct me not to create a password for a localhost site. When I 
   try to carry out the install process I find this will not allow, no password.
   The button is greyed out. If the present installation now requires a password
   for localhost how do I create a password please? Thank you for your help. Regards

 * So sorry, this is a new laptop and I do not have much software on this.
    I have
   managed to get one image created but cannot see how to attach it to this message.
   Any ideas?

   images on any free image hosting site. Or even you can upload it on Google Drive
   and share the link. Thank you

 * I have managed to fix the problem and Welcome to WordPress appears on my screen!

   and at about 8 minutes the commentator completes two forms but in reality now
   there is only one form to complete with all details. For me it was rather confusing
   but with your help I found my way through.
    Perhaps the problem arose because
   the video was using win.10 and I am using win.11 So the database has no password
   but the entry to the WordPress requires a password. Regards
