    If you need more help, you will have to provide more details. Such as where your website is being hosted.

    Additionally, WordPress is not an executable program and there is no “install” per se.

    WP is a web site framework which requires both a web server and a database server to function.

    When the WP download is properly extracted and the files positioned in the correct location on a suitable, running web server, either locally on your own computer for testing, etc. or on a web host, and a new, empty database has been created on a running database server, then one is ready to “run the WordPress install”.

    You mention “using Apple”. If you intend to run WP locally from your Mac, for testing, etc., then check out this link for installing MAMP (a popular web and database server for the Mac):
