Installing trouble

    HI.
    I had problems installing wordpress, so i deleted it and uploadet it several times. Now I have uploaded wp 3.4.1. one last time! In a folder named wordpress. But when i try to install it i get message “Not Found The requested URL /wordpress/ was not found on this server.” Anybody who can help me, pls…!

    A couple of possibilities come to mind immediately:

    1. Confusion over the directory on the web server where you should be placing files, i.e. – where is the root directory of your domain name?
    2. Name Servers are not set correctly or have not been set for enough time yet to make your domain name point at your current web hosting

    Start with something simple. Create a test.txt file with “Hi, how are you?” in it and nothing else. Store that on your web server in what you think is the root directory for your site. Type “http://domain.com/test.txt” into your browser, replacing domain.com with your domain name. You should see “Hi, how are you?” in your browser.

    I am trying to install the optimizepress theme after it uploads it is giving me a upload failed message.
    Can someone tell me why?
