We use bitnami wordpress stacks in amazon’s EC2 platform. This means that when we go to deploy, we will already have a wordpress installation. I can specify the wordpress table, but all of your support docs say to install we should be on an empty directory / not having wordpress installed.

Can you please advise on the implications of instlalling into an existing directory structure for a new site, as well as an install of a site we are continuously syncing from local to production (besides losing new comments, etc., since last sync)?

    Appreciate ya! great plug.

    Hey @maven1129,

The plugin isn’t really designed to keep systems it sync. Its more geared around moving and redeploying your site at this point in time. If you already have existing files then on step 1 of the installer under the advanced options you can use the ‘Manual Extraction’ option which allow you to manually extract the zip file yourself. Some of this information is covered in the User Guide

    Cheers~
