Installing NextGEN GAllery Optimizer Pro

I’m pretty amateur at WordPress. I installed NextGEN Gallery and the GAllery Optimizer but when I purchased Optimizer Pro I got confused. I’v never used FTP before but downloaded one from Firefox. Then I lost track of where the download from Optimizer Pro was or how to use the FTP client.Perhaps I’m too senior to be in this game, but I love it and am trying to learn.

IF I go back to the Optimizer Pro download I have to pay another $15, which I’d rather not. Could someone walk me through the installation process (incluidng how to find the Pro stuff I downloaded)?
