# Installing New Theme

 * Hi,
    This is a pretty basic question, but I would like to install a new WordPress
   and Them to a url that has an existing WordPress system on it. I would like to
   develop the new one before replacing it with the current one.
 * Should I just install through the ftp in a subfolder until I’m ready to switch
   or is there a better way?

 * If you want to develop the theme before you make it live then you need to install
   another wordpress in folder and work in that folder once you have theme working
   the way you want you can copy the theme in live site in wp-content/themes folder
   and activate it in admin panel.
