    So the warning still says you don’t have jpegtran and pngout? Can you paste the contents of your debug block if that is the case?

    Where/what is the debug block?

    In settings, under installation, it gives the options to install but when I click, page reloads and nothing changes. No change when I log out, log in again either.

    Thanks for you help,

    the debug block is the section on the right hand side of the settings page that says Debug information

    Alrighty:

    Debug information

    jpegtran version: Independent JPEG Group’s JPEGTRAN, version 9 13-Jan-2013
    optipng version: OptiPNG version 0.7.4
    gifsicle version: LCDF Gifsicle 1.67
    pngout version: May 30 2012
    GD: OK
    Imagemagick convert installed: YES
    safe mode: Off
    Operating System: Linux
    exec(): enabled
    getimagesize(): OK
    mime_content_type(): missing

    What does it all mean?

    Is it actually giving you a warning (in a yellow box) that says the tools are missing? The debug block shows that everything is just fine.

    If everything is running fine then that is stellar!

    It isn’t actually giving me a warning but it never did anything to signify that the installation had occurred– like an ‘installation complete’ or something similar–

    Thanks for your help and the awesome support you give your plugin!

    Thanks for the feedback, I’ll see if I can add in a little notice that lets people know if the installation was successful.
