installing issue

    I am having issues installing a theme. I am uploading the zip file, however a window keeps opening saying “are you sure you want to do this” and the only link it leaves me is to “Try again”. When you click that link, it takes you back to the upload theme page. And round and round this goes.

    If you have FTP, try to unpack the file on your PC and upload it.
    Ps. are you sure the template is OK with the current version of WP?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I tried deactivating but that did not work. Thank you esmi for your suggestion.

    I was able to unpack and upload through FTP and that did work. Thank you for your help olavxxx.
