 * When I install Google Analytics I get this error message on some of my pages:”
   Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /home/investiv/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/on-site-google-analytics/seoatl-onsite-ga.php on line 99 “
 * Can someone please tell me what to do?
 * Also, where do I go to retrieve the Google Analytics data for my website?
 * Thanks so much.

 * To retrieve Google analytics stats, you’ll need to log into your Google analytics
   account.
 * In that account, GA provides you code to add to your website header.php file.(
   Go to Appearance > Editor — then look on right side and click header.)
 * I would take that code and add it right above the `</head>` tag.
    That way, you
   won’t need a plugin at all and your first error will no longer be relevant.

 * Thanks, Christine, I very much the good advice.
 * That’s what I did before– i.e, plugged in the code (along with the Tracking ID–
   but the error message appears for all the entries (hyperlinks) on my Left Sidebar(
   Appearance > Widgets > Text:Main Menu) except the “Home” hyperlink.
 * So you’re saying I should just deactivate the plugin and that Google Analytics
   will work from the code I plugged in?
 * How long before data will begin showing on visits to my site? All that’s there
   now are listings with links to my stories– VoiceOfBaltimore.org
 * Thanks,
 * AL

 * Yes, Google analytics will pick up the code once you insert the code it provides
   you. I think that the plugin you are using is no good and generating errors.
   I would deactivate and delete it.
 * Once you’ve installed the code, your GA account will tell you whether or not
   it’s picking data. If you install it today, you should be able to see stats tomorrow.

 * So I don’t need to do anything more? (I’ve already deactivated the problem plugin.)
 * At present, all I want is for GA to tell me how many visits each of my site’s
   stories is getting. (I’ll worry about more details later.)
 * You’re saying that this should begin showing in about 24 hours, right? When I
   log into my GA account, it will appear?
 * Thank you again, your help has been great!

 * P.S. I’ve already gotten a report, over 100 page views.
 * I have one more question: How do I tell GA to track visitors who look at specific
   stories on my site (as opposed to just viewing the main page)?
 * My main page carries a headline and opening paragraphs for 5 stories. Each time
   I post a new story, the bottom/oldest story gets knocked off the page– but I
   want to continue tracking pageviews to older pages also.
 * Thanks again,
 * AL
