• Since I updated WordPress to the latest version, I am having problems installing add-ons, to be more precise fgallery

I’ve followed the instructions to the letter, and when i had the older version of WP, it give me no errors.

Now when ever i activate fgallery i get the followig

Warning: fim_install(/home/alicomb/public_html/blog/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/alicomb/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/fgallery/fgallery-plugin.php on line 300

Fatal error: fim_install(): Failed opening required ‘/home/alicomb/public_html/blog/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/alicomb/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/fgallery/fgallery-plugin.php on line 300

I’ve double checked everything and can’t see a problem 🙁

    can anyone help please

The line that is at line 300 in that file is

  • Hi,

I just checked out your blog, and it doesn’t look like
you have that file on your server. Which version of WordPress are you using? I’d suggest looking at your installation of WordPress again and seeing what went wrong.

Did you install using Fantastico? Your server host may have automatically removed the Upgrade files if so, and you may want to manually put them back in.

I did use some forum of automated install, which seemed to go fine with no problems.

Even deleted and tried 3-4 times but I still keep getting these errors, as well as other addons i have installed.

What you say does seem to be plausable so I’ll have to double check when I get home.

Stange thing is i didn’t have this problem when using 1.5.2, it was only when I upgraded to the latest version (which didn’t work), that I started to get these errors.
