Installing a Theme – GoDaddy WordPress Hosting

    Hello,

    I am hoping there is a quick fix to this! Searched the Forum and not finding exactly what I need but if it’s already out there, please just point me to it instead of re-explaining… 🙂

    I have WordPress hosing on GoDaddy, so it’s already installed. I uploaded a purchased theme to wp-content/themes (it’s not nested or anything). It’s not showing up in my Available Themes … any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

    How exactly did you upload the theme? 🙂 did you unzip it or just upload the zip file?

    Let me know in detail what you did and I’ll try and help you trouble shoot! 😀

    the easiest way to install a theme, would be from your admin panel, just go to appearance -> themes -> add new

    It can all be done from there

    I assume you uploaded within the godaddy interface? you have the right location, did you unarchive the theme in there? folder and file structure look OK?

    wp-content
    |_themes
    |___your theme (unarchived)
    |_______all files (index.php, style.css, etc)
