    Hi,
    Thanks for a great plugin, I’ve used is successfully a couple of times.

    Today when transferring a site from a 123-reg hosting account to a demon.net hosting account, the installer.php is showing a blank page (with no source).

    I’ve checked and php is running. I don’t have a cPanel to try to manually unzip the files. I’m not sure if php zipArchive is installed.
    Is there a way of finding out (I’ll speak to server people in the morning), and if not is there another way around it? cound I unzip locally and upload the files?

    Thanks

    Does the installer.php have php source in it or is the size 0KB? If you browse to the installer.php in a browser an you see an empty screen then you may not have php setup correctly on the server… You might check out this FAQ:

    -> Browse To: http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq/
    -> Find Section: “2. Installer”
    -> See Area/Question: “Why does browsing to the installer.php just show text/code or prompt to be downloaded?”

    Hope that helps!

    Any progress on this? Did the FAQ help steer you in the right direction?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the help.

    I went through the FAQ questions and none seemed to fix the problem. I was able to run simple php pages on the server, so I knew that php was running.

    When I finally got a response from demon.net it went along the lines of:

    “We do not support wordpress and there is no option to upgrade”.

    So we fixed the problem by going to a proper hosting company.

    Thanks again for the support.
