 * I tried to download this plugin but it doesn’t download as a zip file so I’m 
   not able to install it.
 * Am I doing something wrong?

 * The zip file is created automatically by wordpress.org and is the same process
   for all plug ins so something must be happening on your end when you download
   zip files which makes them corrupt or otherwize
