    Hi,

    I created a package on the original website and copied the package and installer script to my laptop. the server was formatted and re-installed (working fine) and I copied the package and installer to the httpdocs (the root for my web server).

    the installation routine went fine
    * database connection
    * old & new settings tab
    * no errors

    However,
    the clean-up scripts do not work and
    the website shows the Apache default one.
    the database is empty,
    the folders are not copied to the httpdocs folder (I don’t understand where they went)
    and there is an empty wp-config in the httpdocs folder.

    I don’t understand what goes wrong. Can you please help troubleshoot?

    Thanks,
    Matthijs

    update: At the Update | Advanced options section, the ‘scan tables’ and ‘activate plug-ins’ are empty.

    the package file is about 60MB (when I scan the content it looks all is there: files, database)

    Human error.

    I seemed to have created two packages and I was working with the wrong one.

    The site is up and running!

    Excellent! Thanks for the update…
